We have users running Notes 8.5.3 with single sign-on, accessing Sametime which uses LDAP to a Domino server.
Whenever a user changes a password, all the passwords get changed properly except the stored password in Sametime. However, it still lets them in, but throws this error (hundreds of times a minute) on the LDAP server:
LDAP Server: Bind request for CN=User Name,OU=XXX,O=XXXXX failed: Invalid credentials specified: failed to authenticate
They are still able to access Sametime with no problem, and do not see any errors on their own screens.
The problem is easily solved by logging out of Sametime and logging in with the new password, but it's a royal pain getting people to do it every 90 days.
Seems to me the problem is that Sametime continues to let them in without changing the stored password (which seems to me to be a huge security hole, BTW). If it locked them out, they would be forced to enter the new password and we'd be fine. Is there any way to get Sametime to require the new password?
